A RARE 6.5mm (BERGMANN) SEMI-AUTOMATIC PISTOL, MODEL 'BERGMANN No.3', serial no. 278,
circa 1895, with tapering narrow re-blued 4 1/2in. barrel, raised block at muzzle with dove-tailed mounted fore-sight blade, re-blued bolt without extractor and fitted with an integral dust-cover, notch rear-sight and knurled thumb-piece to rear, re-blued receiver and frame, the frame numbered '608' and marked 'PATENT, BREVETE, S.G.D.G' on the left and stamped with the trademark for V.C. Schilling, Gaggenau on the right, sprung trapdoor on the right hand side for clip-loading, exposed hammer, chequered dark hardwood grips and lanyard loop at heel
